Sydney Ferry (2005)

ref:cfer Sold

I did this as a commission for a dear friend, and was sorry I had to part with it. She knows if she ever wants to sell it to knock on my door first.

Sydney Harbour (2006)

ref: 0306 Sold

I enjoy painting the harbour in this style - the curve of the shore, the colours in the building and the movement of the water make it come alive.

Sydney Frangipanis (2004)

The first painting I ever did of Sydney Harbour - still a favourite.

A commission done for a friend in the UK...I wanted to show him what he was missing.

Highslide JS

Manly (2005)

ref:0243 Sold

The idea of this painting was to capture the congestion of buildings that is now the Manly foreshore. My favourite bit is the small city skyline in the background.

The person who bought this piece has really wanted to move to Dee Why - this was the compromise.

Davistown Fishing Shacks (2006)

ref:0294 Sold

A beautiful place on the Central Coast where I like to get away. These shacks are becoming rare as they are pulled down and replaced by modern mansions.

My City (2006)

ref:0398 Sold

My latest Sydney harbour painting - I got a bit wilder with colour in this one.

Between the Flags (2005)

ref: 0250 Sold

I love this painting's simplicity - it works on a large canvas.

Lazy Summer (Manly) (2005)

Manly Beach with Norfolk Pines

Freshie Frangipanis (2005)

Long Reef Frangipanis (2004)

ref:0145 Sold

An very early Dee why painting - I populated the foreground with the frangipanis and lilies and this is still one of my best selling images.

About my local scenes...
I've been painting local scenes from the start. Sydney Frangipanis (top row, middle) the first large painting I sold through a gallery. Dee Why beach (second and third paintings, middle row ) features often as I see it from my home studio. Frangipani flowers are frequently in the foreground as they're prolific around Sydney, and my favourite flower.
